You have read these days much controversy about the music you listen to on our premises.
Controversies that involved both dee jays, dancing masters than just dancers.
This demonstrates the fact that, in the past, the sauce was a flag that United the community as a whole, but now divides it deeply.
And divide by two substantial reasons:
1° on the one hand, we Italians, we are wrong to see everything under the light of the dance
2° the other suffer the lack of a true culture salsera.
Let me explain: in Puerto Rico make dee jay's salsa the craft the world's easiest because you put music to people who:
1° KNOWS the SAUCE
2° KNOW the singers and orchestras
3° KNOWS EVEN The ANNUAL OUTPUT of a GIVEN STORY.
And just because people breathed that culture since cradle can't cheat, you can't put unknown songs of unlikely orchestras (Peruvian orchestra type that has recorded only one disc that maybe you only you) but you have to put the songs that have made the history of salsa (roughly from 1960 to the present day)
Here in Italy it is clear that there is absolutely not a uniformity of thought on how it should be formed a musical lineup, nor there is a uniformity of taste from the salseros that, indeed, often have attitudes so Taliban who sooner or later force us to enter the track, each with their own headphones to be able to dance to the music that we like.
